Dr. Ray Wheeler says, "I started Leadership Praxis™ because I was frustrate by the lack of leadership I saw in organizations and because I am curious about what makes some individuals so effective in leadership and others so ineffective. I was so curious I went back to school and in the process started a company that allowed me to study and coach leaders in the context in which they work." The word “praxis” means the exercise or practice of an art, science or skill. The word captured my attention because it embodies the way leaders really learn how to be effective. Leaders learn by acting and then evaluating the impact of their actions.
