Leaders must have feedback to determine the effectiveness of the behaviors they deploy on a daily basis. Validated 360° assessments provide an effective means of providing clear developmental feedback to leaders that helps refine skills, perspectives and communication. The Birkman® Method Assessment was created using normal working populations of people in a business or industrial setting with questions derived from research and other widely used personality tests.
The questionnaire underwent seven revisions throughout the creation process, with each revision administered to more than 1,000 subjects from new population groups each time.
The test-retest reliabilities of the Birkman average .78 indicating the internal consistency of scales.

Gain Perspective on the Impact of Leadership Behavior - iOpener 360
The iOpener 360 measures follower, peer and manager assessments of a leader's behaviors as they relate to the development of happiness at work. Utilizing the research of positive psychology iOpener developed a 360 instrument that accurately compiles peer feedback around the factors of happiness at work including contribution, confidence, commitment, conviction, culture, pride, trust and recognition.
The iOpener report provides a leader with concrete insights into what they do well (affirming the behaviors that should be continued), behaviors that are not productive and should be redirected and latent behaivors the leader should start engaging to be more effective.
The use of either the Birkman 360 or the iOpener 360 is determined by the objective of our engagement with our clients, their budget, the scope of our engagement and the developmental needs of the leaders we work with.

Leadership Praxis will not utilize any of our assessment tools apart from also engaging in at least three coaching sessions with one of our independently certified coaches. We make this commitment because we have found that utlizing assessments without also providing coaching to help clients determine concrete responses does not yeild the changes in behaiors or increases in performance sought by our clients.
