Executive Coaching Plan

The Executive Coaching Plan is designed for leaders:

  1. stepping into new positions,
  2. facing adaptive change or
  3. who need to revitalize their focus and perspective

The plan helps sharpen strategic thinking, assess key relationships and build new frames of assessment and communication. The plan includes 1 hour of coaching time per month, up to six months and up to two e-mail exchanges per month, up to a half hour of ad hoc phone time, access to all Leadership Praxis on-line resources, Birkman® Method personal assessment, a Birkman 360® Performance Review and a full day on site observation and feedback session.

Additional phone coaching time is available each month for $150/hour for those currently enrolled in a plan. Additional face to face meetings are also available at $150/hour plus travel time and expenses (see travel time and expenses units below).

Birkman Method® Self-Report Questionnaire

 

The Birkman Method® is an on-line self-report questionnaire administered over the internet.  It elicits responses about perception of self, perception of social context (others), and perception of career opportunities. It is the perfect compliment to performance coaching, succession planning and the organizational alignment of human resources.  Over 2 million people in over 5,000 organizations have contributed to the depth and strength of the assessment. The Birkman focuses on five major perspectives:

  1. Usual Behavior – an individual’s effective behavioral style of dealing with relationships and tasks.
  2. Underlying Needs – an individual’s expectations of how relationships and social situations should be governed in context of the relationship or situation.
  3. Stress Behaviors – an individual’s ineffective style of dealing with relationships or tasks; behavior observed when underlying needs are not met.
  4. Interests – an individual’s expressed preference for job titles based on the assumption of equal economic rewards.
  5. Organizational Focus - the perspective in which an individual views problems and solutions relating to organizational goals.

Integrated – Only Birkman combines behavioral, motivational and interest measurements in a single assessment. It features one system with one language to perform all levels of your human development work, replacing the need to use multiple tools.

Descriptive & Prescriptive – Birkman provides a deep level of both descriptive and prescriptive information.

Performance Improvement Package

Leadership Praxis specializes in helping managers, leaders, and executives improve their performance. Feedback is essential to performance assessment and improvement. Leadership Praxis uses the Birkman 360° multi-rater survey. 360° multi-rater surveys are powerful tools for helping individuals improve, grow, and develop. 360°s are natural complements to data provided by The Birkman Method®. They are often used together for Coaching and Leadership Development.

The Birkman 360° gathers information about individual performance as measured by the perspectives of self, managers, peers, subordinates, and others. Team Assessment and Development

Ad Hoc Coaching Plan

Purchase coaching time to meet your strategic objectives. The ad hoc coaching plan allows you to budget your coaching around specific strategic needs. The Leadership Praxis Coaching model will help you:

Mentor Plan

 

The mentor basic plan is designed for students, new managers and leaders desiring to sharpen their skills in leadership, relationships and delegation. The plan includes a 1 hour phone coaching session or participation in a mentor group each month; and up to two e-mail exchanges. Additional phone time is available for those currently enrolled in a plan for $50 hour. The plan includes a DiSC Personal Assessment. As a result of this plan you will:

  • Be able to define your approach to the work environment.
  • Identify four routine communication styles of the work place.
  • Recognize other’s motivations and how they complement and potentially conflict with your own.

Identify what makes an effective team and how you can contribute to great team environments.

$50.00 per month- minimum 6 month contract

Travel Time

Travel time to and from appointments is $7.50 per half hour unit including layovers and time in the air or on the road. Unless travel time is calculated into a contract it must be paid at the time of invoice. Average commute times will be calculated for driving in Southern California. Time is calculated for travel from Leadership-Praxis offices to and from the client’s office or facility.
