RESEARCH SERVICES:

Leadership Praxis offers two approaches to research, qualitative and quantitative depending on the question we are asked to engage.

The quantitative research methods of Leadership Praxis are employed to evaluate business performance around known variables, financial performance and include all our personnel assessments.  Our research partner in business performance and financial assessments is Room 101 Research. 

Quantitative research projects are priced based on scope and complexity.  The results are reliable and validated and reported in compliance with generally accepted research methods.   

The qualitative research methods of Leadership Praxis are employed to evaluate business performance when we investigate employee attitudes, perceptions, organizational culture, organizational design efficiencies and management/leadership skills.  Qualitative research methods are also employed in conducting literature reviews. Qualitative research projects are priced based on scope and complexity.

Leadership Praxis follows generally accepted research practices including:

  • A plain language description of the research aims
  • High regard and respect for participant dignity and personal privacy
  • Clearly defined methodology (including questionnaires, interviews, focus groups and/or field observations by the researcher)
  • Confidentiality and security of data gathered
  • Voluntary participation that allows participants to withdraw at any time without prejudice
  • Statement of risks
  • Informed consent

Research is utilized to interpret data looking for causal relationships and insights that casual observation misses because it does not possess the rigor to compare data categories.  Without research organizations are limited in their perspective to intuitive observations of data that retain a large margin of error and may lead to disastrous operational or strategic conclusions that in fact are not supported by a rigorous assessment of the data. 

The research of Leadership Praxis helps organizations avoid the common traps of: selective observation, inaccurate observation, overgeneralization, mystification, made-up information or illogical reasoning.
